The Realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition is a limited-edition smartphone created for fans of the Wizarding World, combining the hardware of the Realme 16 Pro 5G with Hogwarts-inspired design, software customisation and collectible accessories. Launched in India on September 21, 2026, the special edition is available in a single Magic Brown finish and is priced at ₹62,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration.
Unlike limited-edition phones that only receive a different colour and a few wallpapers, Realme has extended the Harry Potter theme to the phone’s body, packaging, icons, animations and other elements of the user interface. The result is essentially a collector-focused version of the Realme 16 Pro 5G rather than a new hardware platform.
Realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition Price in India
The Realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition price in India is ₹62,999. It is offered in a single configuration with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, and the colour option is called Magic Brown. The phone is available through Flipkart and select retail outlets in India.
The price places it considerably above the standard Realme 16 Pro 5G configurations. The additional cost is primarily associated with the Harry Potter-themed design, software experience, limited-edition packaging and collectibles rather than upgraded core hardware.

Hogwarts-Inspired Design
The biggest difference between the Harry Potter Edition and the regular Realme 16 Pro 5G is its design. The smartphone gets a Magic Brown leather-style rear panel with a 3D diamond or argyle texture inspired by the Wizard’s Chess aesthetic. A Hogwarts crest sits prominently in the centre of the back panel.
The camera module has also received a Harry Potter makeover. Its two prominent camera rings are designed to resemble Hedwig’s eyes, giving the rear camera island a distinctive appearance. The metallic camera decoration is complemented by the textured brown finish.
Another subtle detail is the “Welcome to Hogwarts” laser engraving on the phone’s frame. These details make the device look different from the standard Realme 16 Pro rather than simply adding Harry Potter branding to an existing colour.
Realme also claims a special quadra light-sensing colour-changing technology. Under UV light, the four-house Hogwarts crest can reveal the colours associated with Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. Realme notes that the colour-changing effect can gradually wear off with everyday use.
The phone measures around 8.47mm at its claimed thinnest design point, while its standard specifications list the dimensions at approximately 162.6 × 77.6 × 7.8mm and weight around 192g.
Harry Potter-Themed Box and Collectibles
The limited-edition experience starts with the packaging. Instead of an ordinary smartphone box, Realme provides a Hogwarts-themed gifting box inspired by Harry Potter’s school trunk.
Inside the package, buyers get the phone along with a themed case, charging accessories and several Harry Potter collectibles. These include a Hogwarts acceptance letter, train ticket, character postcards, Hogwarts house bookmarks and house crest pins.
The themed packaging is arguably one of the most important parts of the product because the phone itself retains the hardware platform of the standard Realme 16 Pro 5G.
Hogwarts-Themed Realme UI 7.0
Realme has also customised the software experience extensively. The phone runs Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16, but the interface has been redesigned around Hogwarts.
The customisation includes:
- Hogwarts Castle wallpapers
- Harry Potter-inspired boot animation
- Harry Potter-themed fingerprint animation
- 30+ redesigned native app icons
- Hogwarts-inspired visual elements
- House-themed design details
- Harry Potter-themed camera watermarks
Realme’s official product page shows examples of redesigned icons and themed system elements, making the software experience a significant part of the special edition.
This approach is similar to the idea highlighted by PhoneArena, which notes that the device contains numerous Harry Potter-themed interface elements and Easter eggs rather than limiting the collaboration to physical branding.
Display and Performance
Underneath the Harry Potter styling, the phone retains the hardware specifications of the Realme 16 Pro 5G.
It features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1272 × 2772-pixel resolution and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. Realme also lists HDR10+, DC dimming and a peak brightness figure of up to 6,500 nits under its specified testing conditions.
Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max 5G chipset, paired with 12GB RAM in the Harry Potter Edition. Realme claims an AnTuTu score of 971,755 in its laboratory testing, although actual benchmark results can vary depending on testing conditions and software.
The chipset is designed for everyday multitasking, gaming and 5G connectivity rather than competing directly with the most powerful flagship processors.
Camera Features
The Realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition carries the same camera hardware as the regular model.
At the rear is a 200MP primary camera with OIS, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The front houses a 50MP selfie camera. The main sensor has an f/1.8 aperture and supports two-axis optical image stabilisation.
Realme also incorporates Harry Potter-themed photography elements, including a Hogwarts Four Houses-inspired watermark. Its software includes additional AI-powered photography and editing features such as StyleMe, Eraser, Popout, LightMe and Portrait Glow.
For photography enthusiasts, therefore, the camera hardware remains unchanged from the standard Realme 16 Pro, while the special edition adds a more themed software experience.
7,000mAh Battery and 80W Charging
One of the phone’s notable specifications is its 7,000mAh battery. Realme pairs it with 80W Ultra Charge technology. The company also highlights bypass charging and battery-health features as part of the device’s power-management system.
Realme’s laboratory figures claim up to 22 hours of YouTube usage, 16.6 hours of WhatsApp usage and 10.6 hours of gaming under its specified testing conditions. Actual battery life will vary according to brightness, network conditions, applications and usage patterns.
Water and Dust Resistance
The Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition also carries extensive protection ratings. Realme lists IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K protection, while its product page highlights resistance to high-pressure and high-temperature water conditions.
This gives the phone a practical durability advantage beyond its collector-focused design.
Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition vs Standard Realme 16 Pro
The Harry Potter Edition is not a performance upgrade over the standard Realme 16 Pro 5G. Its principal changes are aesthetic and experiential.

Gadgets 360 similarly describes the Harry Potter Edition as having specifications identical to the standard Realme 16 Pro, with the major additions being its Harry Potter-themed hardware and software treatment.
Is the Realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition a Collector’s Phone?
The Realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition is best understood as a Harry Potter collector’s edition built around an existing smartphone platform. Its 200MP camera, 7,000mAh battery, 144Hz AMOLED display and Dimensity 7300 Max processor provide the underlying smartphone functionality, while the Hogwarts design, custom UI and collectibles create the special-edition experience.
Its limited availability also adds to its collector appeal. Gadgets 360 reports that only 5,000 units are being produced worldwide.
At ₹62,999, the phone commands a substantial premium over the standard model, so its appeal largely depends on how much value a buyer places on the Harry Potter design, exclusive packaging and themed software. For fans of the franchise, those elements are considerably more extensive than a simple branded phone case or wallpaper.
